As a Bidfood Transport Operations Manager you would be leading the Transport operation you’ll celebrate our vision, mission and values through your demonstrated leadership, direction and technical expertise. You’ll achieve best in class results with your team via a combination of experience, enthusiasm and determination but most importantly, through creating and supporting a motivational and engaging culture.
We continually strive to be more efficient whilst delivering the highest levels of service excellence to our customers and colleagues. As an expert on legal compliance and company standards your passion will be to coach, support and develop your team to achieve department and service level results. You’ll get professional fulfilment through effective planning, overseeing and coaching the Transport Leadership team whilst supporting your colleagues to achieve their personal development goals.
Whilst our Drivers are caring for our customers the Transport Leadership Team will be caring for them. Having the ability to clearly identify and prioritise workload is essential ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and to standard within the required SLA timescales and budget.
Flexibility is crucial to achieve success with the ability and willingness to adapt working hours when required. Though the majority of your shifts will be Monday to Friday there will be a requirement for occasional weekend working.
