At our depots we make over 5,000 deliveries to our customers each week, we have a number of teams who work together to deliver service excellence to our customers every day. Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to join our team. The BM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in the fruit, vegetable and chilled wholesale sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the customer base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and industry trends.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role in the wholesale or fresh produce industry.
  • Strong understanding of the fruit, vegetable and chilled market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
