Debriefer

 

Bidfood have a requirement for an experienced De-Briefer to join the Transport Department at our Bidfood Glasgow

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 09:15 to 19:00 (9 hours) with 45min break later finishes may be required in the busier periods.

Your role as De-Briefer

The De-Briefer role will be to ensure that all drivers receive a full debrief on their return to the depot with duties including:

• Ensuring that Driver Daily Report (DD1/Product Return Sheets) forms are completed accurately
• Review driver paperwork to ensure correct completion, challenging anomalies
• Resolution of concerns and queries in relation to incorrect/incomplete/lost paperwork
• Routine vehicle spot checks for cleanliness
• Ensuring procedures are followed in relation to accidents
• Compliance to Tachograph legislation – Digital tachograph downloads(Monthly)
• Checking and marshalling temperature sensitive goods (involves working in a multi-temperature environment for extended periods)
• Help loading of second run journeys still at depot.
• Moving pallets and cages to the correct stowage area in the depot.

What do you need to succeed?

• A methodical approach and keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of warehouse, transport and customer services process and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be enthusiastic and have the ability to challenge bad practices
• Be pro-active and able to work under your own initiative.
• The ability to be flexible and able to work a shift pattern.
