You’ll work closely with the wider depot leadership team to deliver the very best service to our customers, every single day.

You’ll really understand that brilliant results come from brilliant people, developing your management team, recognising good performance, addressing issues early and always leading by example.  Transport at Bidfood is a demanding, fast‑moving environment, but if you care deeply about your people, your operation and the quality of service delivered, you’ll thrive here.

Some of the key parts of the role

  • Leading, coaching and developing your management team to deliver service excellence through their teams

  • Managing performance, absence, conduct and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently
  • Working collaboratively with depot leadership, support teams and external partners
  • Always role‑modelling our values, especially when things are challenging
  • A Transport Managers CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is a legal requirement for this role

If you’re ready to lead at scale, care about doing things the right way, and want to play a key role in shaping the future of Transport at Inverness Depot we’d love to hear from you.
