About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out full debriefs with drivers upon return to site.
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies, or incidents.
  • Ensure all returned documentation is processed in line with company and food standards.
  • Vehicle Unloading, Oversee and support the unloading of returned vehicles.
  • Ensure all returned goods, cages, and equipment are offloaded safely and efficiently.
  • Segregate returns, damages, and empties in accordance with site processes and food standards.
  • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing cages.
  • Monitor cage usage and highlight discrepancies or losses.
  • Maintain system updates for cage movements and stock levels in line with company processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all transport-related debrief processes and food standard requirements are adhere to in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
  • Saturday working is required as part of this role on a Rota basis.
  • Additional flexibility may be required to support operational needs.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic IT skills for data entry and system updates.
