Business Manager – North East England

With our new Durham depot on the horizon, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the Northeast team as we look to drive new business and grow into our new surroundings.

We are on the lookout for a bold, hungry Business Manager to own new business growth and manage an existing portfolio of independent business. 

You’ll spend most of your time out in your territory, winning new customers, maximising existing business, and turning every conversation into profitable growth. If the thrill of new business, the buzz of closing deals and the satisfaction of hitting (and beating) targets gets you fired up – you’ll love it here.

What you’ll do every day

  • Hunt and win new business across your region
  • Deepen relationships with existing customers to protect and grow revenue
  • Partner with our Category Specialists to bring innovative, tailored food solutions to life
  • Use our in-house technology and product range to solve customer challenges creatively
  • Deliver exceptional service while hitting sales, profit, and growth targets
  • Think on your feet – because things don’t always go to plan

Who thrives here

  • Proven field sales/new business development experience (foodservice or related B2B is a big advantage)
  • Commercial sharpness – you spot opportunities others miss

  • First-class communication: you adapt your style to deal with school kitchens one minute to fine-dining chefs the next
  • Full UK driving license and happy to be on the road most days
