The IT Infrastructure Support & Security Analyst is part of the IT Operations team responsible for managing all Infrastructure support tickets along with running critical daily checks in regard to all aspects of the IT Infrastructure along with WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi networking. Additionally, ensuring compliance with the latest security patching across all platforms via patching and reporting. You will work closely with IT Support colleagues with resolution and information sharing, to ensure fix times are prompt and enabling our business to continue working.
Effective & timely response to security alerts from our security platforms (SIEM, firewall, email security, web proxy etc.) along with DR and Backup/Restore testing on an annual and monthly basis are critical responsibilities of the role, ensuring our business and IT estate remains safe & secure.
Proactive DR and Backup/restore testing on an annual and ongoing basis.
Additionally, working with our hosting providers, 2nd & 3rd line support teams and Project team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management (on-call 24/7 cover may be required) troubleshooting and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure to ensure availability, stability and performance of all BidcorpUK IT systems.
