About the role

Debriefer
 

 

  • Computer literate – must be able to input data on spreadsheets, access the internet and send emails
  • Must be able to communicate effectively – this includes actively listening and clarifying salient points.
  • A working knowledge a busy transport department, this could include administration, or working as a driver
  • Working knowledge of multi temperature / drop deliveries preferable
  • Identify areas of concern in drivers behaviour or competency e.g. constantly returning with shortages, above average damage to vehicles, slovenly appearance.
  • Collate feedback from drivers on Vehicle load presentation and report to warehouse management for comment
  • Works as part of a team, to co-ordinate and control drivers but has no direct responsibility for distributing the workload.
  • Communicate with the transport department to manage cage location and stock.
  • To take telephone calls and deal with enquiries as required.
  • 40 hours a week but needs to flexible on start and finish time 
This is predominantly an office based role, which requires excellent communication and listening skills. There may be some work in the yard, which involves visually checking vehicles for damage and general cleanliness
