Bidfood in Biggleswade known as (Bedford) are now looking for a dynamic individual to join our stock team. We are looking for a hard-working, hands-on individual who can display our core values of Care, Share and Dare. You will be working within our Stock Department and alongside our Warehouse, Customer Services and Admin teams. Your main tasks will include completing a rolling perpetual inventory cycle, stock reconciliation and inventory investigations to a high standard.
As PI Operative on day shifts, you’ll handle a wide range of ambient, chilled and frozen products. You’ll be required to use a Scissor Lift (Working at Heights) and a Reach Truck following onsite training.
Daily Duties may include:
- Arranging products that have been identified for quarantine, customer credit investigations and managing short-dated stock.
- To carry out a full stock check on all items within the company standard of 20 working days.
- To fully investigate all discrepancies identified within the set daily P.I.
- Provide examples to management of persistent stock discrepancies or damages.
- Carrying out a full stock check on all items to ensure that products are defined on the stock labels including highlighting goods incorrectly located or identified in bulk locations.
- Ensuring that the warehouse complies with the company Health and Safety Policies and Standards.
- Using your confident IT and administration skills you’ll navigate our bespoke systems maintaining our records to the highest of standards.
Where has your journey taken you so far? Do you have:
- IT literacy skills (Microsoft packages and WMS)
