National Account Executive
Due to the growth and development of the National Account B&I Sector, this has provided an opportunity for a new and exciting position to be advertised for a National Account Executive to support the management and development of a key customer Foodbuy (not exclusively).
You will be critical in creating a positive experience for our customers businesses to grow, through proactive analytical processes and positive stakeholder engagement.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
Administrative Duties – support with completion of new product listing forms, agreement forms, change of terms, price calculators etc.
Tender Support - support with added value documents, baskets, costing, credit checks etc.
Prospecting / Growth – Contacting prospective customers, arranging appointments and maintaining the development of prospects and growth opportunities including strategic pillar opportunities and consolidation.
Range Optimisation Control - focusing on reducing nominated/slow moving lines within the sectors/business.
Customer Range Rationalisation - compare customer ranges to identify similar/suitable products which would drive commerciality and reduce products.
Quarterly Review Meeting - preparation of Quarterly Review meeting presentations/packs and regular contact with clients.
Account Management – development and maintaining a portfolio of accounts within the sector. Continually maximise opportunities within the ever growing sector and managing relevant processes for customer.
Own Brand Focus - owning own brand switch project for the sector including benchmarking of pricing and specifications to drive incremental own brand penetration growth with measured and reviewed targets.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
• Analytical and commercially aware
• Strong organisational skills, hard-working and the ability to work under pressure
The National Account Executive role is a perfect position for an individual who has the desire and drive to develop into a National Account Manager position in the future.
A full driving licence is a prerequisite as there will be a requirement for travel throughout the country at different times, plus overnight accommodation as and when required.
