I've been working for Bidfresh for over two years as Technical Manager for the produce depot at R. Noone and Son, based in Stockport. On the day to day I coordinate the health and safety aspects of the site, ensuring PPE is available and worn by all staff and that any issues are reported and dealt with efficiently. I also oversee the technical operation of the site from ensuring the products are sourced from approved suppliers and stored at the appropriate temperatures before being distributed to our customers. I enjoy being an active part of a team with a strong working ethic, striving to create a positive environment and the best customer experience. The staff are friendly at the depot and the wider business provides a really helpful network of expertise and operational support. There are opportunities to learn and develop your skill set whether it be short development courses on I.T, sales or health and wellbeing or taking on additional responsibilities such as becoming a first aider or a fire marshal. Finally, I'd say I'm proud to work for a company that support the local community by contributing to local charities and homeless shelters.
