About the role

Stock Control - Team Manager

To lead a team alongside the Stock Control Manager with the operations of the Stock, PI and Returns departments in line with finance targets and legal compliance, whilst achieving service excellence to internal and external customers, delivered through effective engaging and motivational leadership. 

Key Job Deliverables

  • Manage all aspects of the count PI cycles. With the usage of multiple WMS systems for all aspects of stock related queries.
  • Strong Communications Skills both written and verbal, as you will be liaising with multiple departments to manage process, sourcing root cause.
  • Monitor all date-sensitive stock daily, detailing appropriate information accurately on relevant central replenishment at risk databases, escalating to operational management in timely manner.
  • Conduct quality investigations to ensure all customer credits correctly identify root causes and distribute findings to relevant departments.
  • Monitor daily stock loss reports in line with daily budgeted stock loss, to identify and highlight positive / minus stock adjustments and work collaboratively with wider teams to reduce damage and ensuring cost and customer availability KPI’s are met.
  • Lead a team and create an engaging environment encouraging direct reports to drive performance through a balanced approach of recognition and managing performance against agreed KPI’s.
  • Managing recruitment, absence, performance conduct safety and service.
  • Coaching the team to reach their full potential as well as communicating openly and consistently, delivering key messages to the team at the right time.
  • Manage the teams Weekly Rota and Holiday allowances.
